Words in Service of Consciousness
Reflections
Here I share short thoughts that come from my own path: from the
Course, from silence, from what life has taught me along the way.
They are not closed answers — they are simple invitations to see
things differently.
Forgiveness Isn't What You Think
For a long time I understood forgiveness as an effort — gritting
my teeth and saying "I forgive you" even though it still hurt
inside. Today I see it differently. True forgiveness isn't
forced, it's allowed. It's letting go of the story I tell myself
about what happened, and making room for something that was
already there, beneath the judgment: a peace that didn't depend
on the other person changing.
What Illness Taught Me About Control
For years I believed that healing meant winning a battle against
the body. Over time I understood there was another way to go
through it: to stop fighting what I couldn't control, and instead
ask myself what I could let go of in my mind. There aren't always
clear answers for the body. But there is a constant choice in how
we accompany it: from fear, or from trust.
Returning to Yourself Isn't a Place, It's a Choice
Sometimes we think peace is somewhere else: in another stage of
life, in another relationship, in another body. But returning to
oneself isn't arriving anywhere — it's simply stopping the search
outside for what can only be found within. Every time we choose
to look without judgment, even for an instant, we have already
returned.
